The building was designed by Dezső Hültl and was completed in 1933. The school is currently home for the primary school who will move to a new building on Czollner Square so eventually the 12 high school classes will solely fill the building. With the extension of the courtyard a new large gymnasium and a new multi-level assembly hall and community room will be created. These are necessary but currently missing in the school. In the basement a canteen with capacity of 300 will be made to be able to solve on-site school catering. The classroom wings will be fitted with large wall openings to the corridor to allow more flexibility for each classroom block. A new courtyard will be created on top of the gym.
