The project was to renovate an existing health care building: Adult Medical Practice, Medical Outpatient, Pharmacy, Doctor's Surgery with separate entrances with different opening hours. This was achieved through modifications of the internal floor plan. The Pharmacy was in operation during the construction. Furthermore, the entrance is accessible for disabled. A couple of years ago most of the building's fa ade windows were replaced to white plastic insulated ones. The windows had to be kept, but not the entrance doors. The wall-panelled facade had to be retrofitted with thermal insulation. With the new facade cladding and entrance canopy design, we would like to show that along with the many compromises it is possible to build a modern building mass while retaining the original wall panel structure.
